One of the first Olympics endorsement deals has been made. U.S. gymnast Laurie Hernandez has signed with Procter & Gamble, following her Olympic gold and silver medal-winning performances in Rio.
 
Hernandez is 16 years old, and of Puerto Rican descent. Recognized for her bright smile, she will serve as an ambassador for P&G’s Crest oral care brand and also for Orgullosa, the company’s Latina-focused marketing platform.
 
As part of the agreement, Hernandez’s mother will take part in promotions for P&G’s ‘Thank You Mom’ campaign.
